Udayana University Hospital was founded out of the need for Medical Education for Udayana University Medical Students and other health workers within Udayana University. under the auspices of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in 2010.
Built on a land area of 41,500 m2 with multi-year financing using the State Budget. Udayana University Hospital, which is shortened to become Unud Hospital, began operating in 2013 by opening health services for the general public as a first-level health service provider with inpatient care. During its journey, in 2018 it increased its operational status to become a Type C Hospital with the top four services including Obstetrics, Children, Surgery and Internal Medicine.
